Arthur Kannas drives heaven’s strategy and day to day management. Co-
founder, Managing Director and head of Creation, his client’s benefit from
his expert experience of digital culture and his disruptive intuition.
Arthur was led to the communication professions by the world of video
games. On the advice of a friend, he joined Edelman France in 1997: the
agency needed a credible gamer to take care of PR for Microsoft - Arthur
supported them for 17 years. When the web emerged he discovered a whole
new playing field. Alongside two colleagues, he created Edelman Interactive
France, an online PR and marketing department, which was re-named
heaven in 2002 and joined the Hopscotch Group 7 years later. Led by Arthur
and his two associates, Diane Leray-Lemoine and Sophie Noël, heaven
launched the first influencer and community manager programmes in
France. It quickly established itself as a “next gen” agency: able to anticipate
and play with new ways of using all things digital. Arthur counts Samsung —
for whom heaven created the viral campaign « Unleash your fingers » —,
Disney, Jean-Paul Gaultier and Caisse d’Epargne among his clients.
He can also be seen delivering one of his keynote speeches, which are often
provocative - such as his “short guide to cheating on social media” - for
which heaven created the brand “Mars Kebab” (“Mars’ no.1”) from nothing
with 100,000 fake fans.
