Arthur Kannas co-leads on heaven’s strategy and day-to-day operations. Co-founder, Managing Director and head of Creation, his client’s benefit from his extensive experience in digital culture and his disruptive intuition.

Arthur found his way to the communication professions through the world of video games. He joined Edelman France in 1997 on the advice of a friend. The agency needed a credible gamer to handle PR for Microsoft, who Arthur would go on to support for 17 years. When the web emerged, he discovered a whole new playing field. Arthur and two colleagues established Edelman Interactive France, an online marketing and communications department. It rebranded as heaven and became an independent agency in 2002, joining forces with Hopscotch Groupe seven years later. Under the leadership of Arthur and his two partners – Diane Leray-Lemoine and Sophie Noël – heaven launched France’s first influencer and community manager programs. heaven rapidly established itself as the “next gen” agency, skilfully anticipating and playing with new uses for digital. Arthur’s clients include Samsung – for who heaven created the viral “Unleash Your Fingers” campaign – Disney, Jean-Paul Gaultier, and Caisse d’Epargne.

You may find him giving one of his often-provocative keynote speeches, such as his “Brief Guide to Cheating on Social Media”, where heaven created the “Mars Kebab” brand from scratch (“the number 1 kebab on Mars”), with 100,000 fake fans.

Arthur has a Master’s degree in law from Paris XI University.

He plays jazz on the piano for his children and has a self-confessed gaming obsession.
