Beginning a new era in the history of the Paris Motor Show
Luc CHATEL, chairman of the automotive platform (PFA), and Frédéric BEDIN, chairman of the HOPSCOTCH group signed an agreement today that makes the HOPSCOTCH group the partner of AMC Promotion for the organisation of the Paris Motor Show, a major and unmissable event, ranked among the top major international trade shows.
This long-term partnership will, as of 2020, become a profoundly revamped event, with a strong B2B component designed for the new challenges of mobility.
This signature comes at the end of the call for tenders launched on 15 February by the PFA with the entire ecosystem of the automotive sector, in order to set new ambitious horizons for the Paris Motor Show.
“With this strong partnership, we are embarking upon a new era in the history of the Paris Motor Show. Basically, the major trade fairs are in exactly the same situation as the automotive sector itself: faced with the need to constantly reinvent themselves. The Paris Motor Show is, however, perfectly placed to embody the future of the automotive industry, not only to ensure its sustainability, but to aim for a leading position so that the return on the marketing investment of exhibitors will continue to grow; With HOPSCOTCH, the French leader in event design, we are going to make this event the benchmark international event, at the forefront of the automotive ecosystem and new mobility,” emphasised Luc CHATEL.

It’s a great challenge to reawaken interest in the Paris Motor Show at a time when mobility is being reinvented. The challenge will be, from 2020, to increase the audience of brands by offering a completely reinvented, interactive and personalised tour experience,” stated Frédéric BEDIN.
The revamped 2020 Paris Motor Show will be unveiled at a press conference to be held before the summer.
