HOPSCOTCH SPORT AGENCY UNITEAM SUPPORTS THE LAUNCH OF THE UBER EATS E-LIGUE 1 PLAY-OFFS 2023

After four months of regular season matches contested by the 13 clubs in the competition, the Uber Eats e-Ligue 1 play-offs kick off at 7.30 p.m. tonight on the Uber Eats Ligue 1 Twitch channel!

At the helm is the LFP (French Football Governing Body), which is working closely with Hopscotch Sport’s UniTeam agency to define, implement, organize, and communicate the Uber Eats e-Ligue 1 via web and social media.

Six clubs have qualified for the final phase this season. Olympique de Marseille, represented by Diogo Peixoto (DPeixoto7), Leandro Peixoto (LJRPeixoto) and Samy Bakhti (SamyLumine), and Paris Saint-Germain with Ilias El Rhazzaz (Nkantee) and Amar Abdoulfatah (Ama2zerr), finished first and second respectively in the regular season and have qualified directly for the semi-finals.

FC Lorient, FC Nantes, LOSC Lille and Clermont Foot 63 finished third to sixth in the regular season and will face off in the quarterfinals in the hope of reaching the semis.

The play-offs will be played exclusively in Bo7 format (first team to 4 wins the match) on PS5™, and matches will be available to watch live on the Uber Eats Ligue 1 Twitch channel.

The six participating clubs will battle it out for the title of French Champion 2023.

The two French Champions will each win a qualifying place for the “EA SPORTS™ FIFA 23 Global Series Play-offs”. The two finalists in the competition will each win a qualifying place for the play-ins for the “EA SPORTS FIFA 23 Global Series Play-offs”. A cash prize of €60,000 will be shared between the winner, second, third, and fourth places.

Uber Eats e-Ligue 1 Play-off Schedule:

  • Tuesday, May 16 from 7.30 p.m.: FC Nantes – LOSC Lille (Quarter final 1)
  • Wednesday, May 17 from 7.30 p.m.: FC Lorient – Clermont Foot 63 (Quarter final 2)
  • Tuesday, May 23 from 7.30 p.m.: Olympique de Marseille – Winner of Quarter Final 1 (Semi final 1)
  • Wednesday, May 24 from 7.30 p.m.: Paris Saint-Germain – Winner of Quarter Final 2 (Semi final 2)
  • Wednesday, May 31 from 7.30 p.m.: e-Ligue 1 Awards by Uber Eats and Final

New this season, as well as being broadcast live on Twitch, the semi-finals and final will be held with an audience.

Sidney Govou, former French international footballer, and seven-time French champion with Olympique Lyonnais, will be at the final to present the trophy to the champions.

On Wednesday, May 31, ahead of the final, the regular season e-Ligue 1 Awards by Uber Eats will be presented to the MVP, the best duo, the best goal, the best prospect, the best scorer, and the best defender.
