Hopscotch PR Supports Tout le monde contre le cancer (“Everyone Against Cancer”)
To mark International Childhood Cancer Day on February 15, the association Tout le Monde contre le cancer (“Everyone Against Cancer”) kicked off “Même pas mal” (“It doesn’t even hurt”), pain management training courses for parents and caregivers of children with cancer. Hopscotch PR is publicizing the program, which runs until March 15, by inviting journalists to attend training sessions at 15 hospitals in Paris and its surrounding region. The aim is to raise awareness of the importance of giving strength to caregivers, and to publicize the association’s actions.
At the same time, Tout le monde contre le cancer rolled out its first major appeal for donations, designed with the participation of children, and echoing its mission statement: “As long as there’s joy, there’s life!”. In addition to promoting the campaign in the specialized media, the agency suggested that the association mobilize the Reworld Media group, to give it even greater impact. For two weeks, the appeal for donations was given free visibility on Doctissimo, one of the world’s leading health and well-being websites, with 6 million unique visitors a month. The partnership negotiated by Hopscotch PR included an editorial component featuring visuals and testimonial videos, as well as three banners running for two weeks on the site for the equivalent of one million impressions.
