Benoît Désveaux

Benoît Désveaux is cofounder, Managing Director and one of the three members of the Management Board of Hopscotch Groupe.

He is keen to offer his expertise in innovative communications and his sense for strategic commitment at the service of his clients.

In 1986, Benoît founded Délires alongside his brother Gilbert Désveaux and Frédéric Bedin. The agency had the flair to combine event organization with PR campaigns and later the digital. The agency merged with Promo 2000 and changed its name to Le Public Système in 1993, and then to HOPSCOTCH in 2015, the group today invents the PR and community marketing business.

Benoît is engaged in projects of general interest that he develops with enthusiasm within the group such as La Semaine du Goût, Revolution@Work and Solutions Cop21 in 2015, he initiated among others. He has long strived for the adaptation of communications to the challenges of sustainable development. He is the administrator of ACIDD (Association for Sustainable Development Communication and Information). He is also the founder of a working group gathering seven professional associations from events and eco events businesses, and at the origin of a charter as well as an eco-event guide.

Thanks to Benoît’s impetus, HOPSCOTCH Groupe is one of the rare large French companies who won the demanding ISO 20121 certification for responsible events. Benoît is also Vice President of the PR Union Syntec Conseil. He campaigns today for the recognition of the reputation value of companies as well as the strategic importance of the alignment between words and actions, best practices, commitments and environment friendliness.
Following his engineering studies at EFREI, Benoit has cultivated his taste for solid methods to evolve in complexity.
Benoit draws inspiration from architecture, contemporary dance, sailing and walking.
